Summary
These are the locations and dates that the organisers have provided for this website, but it is always a good idea to check the Sightings Page for last minute decisions as to whether a work party is going ahead. Sometimes the weather is against us!
Another option is to check with the individual organiser.
WhatsApp is increasingly popular as a means of communicating but that only helps if you are an established group member.
For further details of individual sites, including contact details of the organisers, please check “Volunteers” on the menu bar.
The next Sussex branch Members’ Day will be held at Cyprus Hall, Cyprus Road, Burgess Hill, RH15 8DX on Saturday 22nd November 2025 at 1.30pm
We will have 2 interesting and informative presentations from:
David Bridges and Bill Downey on 'The Wood White in Sussex and Surrey'.
Fiona Scully (Reserves Officer for SE England) on 'BC Reserves and the importance of Volunteers in their management'.
Tea, coffee and cakes will be available, plus a Raffle (cash donations would be appreciated).
Photo competition results will be announced, and the top images submitted will be projected.
We’d really love for our members to be able to meet and mingle.
There is a large pay and display car park behind Cyprus Hall, and other (also paying) car parks around the centre of Burgess Hill. The Hall is about 5 minutes’ walk from Burgess Hill station.
No booking needed.
We anticipate the afternoon will finish around 4.30 pm
Again this year we are holding a photographic competition open to all members; the results to be announced at the Members Day being held at the Cyprus Hall, Burgess Hill on Saturday the 22nd of November.
This year we will also have a category for U16s.
