Members' Day - Saturday 30th November - Final Details | |
The programme for our members' day has been finalised. There will be three interesting presentations, we will be holding a raffle and the results of our photo competition will be announced. Adur transect group is recruiting | |
The Adur transect group is recruiting a sixth member to help walk the Transects at Mill Hill (LNR), Anchor Bottom (SSSI), and Lancing Ring (LNR), from next April. Each of the transects contains a rich variety of downland butterfly species and take about an hour to complete. With six in the group each member walks 13 transects between the beginning of April and the end of September. Full training will be provided. Winter Work Parties 2024-25 start this weekend | |
Richard F, Roy, Jason, Max, Graham, JC, Neil, Richard B, Debbie and Dave. Throughout the winter the branch arranges and supports conservation work parties on its reserves and on other important reserves across Sussex, helping improve the habitat to ensure the continued success of our butterflies in 2025 and beyond. | |
