Definitely second brood, Paul. Most probably the earliest Sussex record for second brood Dingy Skippers. I quote from the article I wrote in 2025. "If we wish to find a second brood Dingy Skipper, when should we go searching? The website records for 2006 – 2025 were carefully checked, and all the second brood reports were in July and August, with a spread of dates between July 8th and August 26 th . A total of 112 posts were found, with 93% of the records between mid-July and mid-August. If you wish to find a second brood Dingy Skipper, you are most likely to find one between July 18th and August 9 th . That’s just 22 days, which is a very narrow window of opportunity". Martin K
